Cheaper than Johnsons but almost as good. (Tesco Baby Oil)

When I was pregnant every time I did a Tesco shop on line I would check out the special offers in the baby department and for about two months there was a promotion on Tescos Baby Oil. I think it was buy one get one free so you can imagine the ammount of Baby Oil I still have as she is only just four months old, I don't think I'll ever need to buy any ever again.

The first thing I noticed about Tescos baby oil was the price. At only 1.59 for 500mls compared to 3.39 for 500mls Johnsons Baby Oil there is a substantial difference.

The bottle is shaped so there is grooves for your fingers which can be very handy as the bottle gets very slimy and slippery with oil.

The labels are very plain and minimalist with only seven words on the front...

On the back label there is more information including directions, ingredients and the Tesco Quality Guarantee.

I use Tesco Baby oil in my daughters bath water (and my own) and I wouldn't say it was as good as Johnsons as it is slightly more greasy and it definetly doesn't smell as good (love that baby smell!), but it works to keep my skin smooth and supple and my daughter hasn't had any noticeable problems with it.
