===Why I Got This===
Well I must say we do not have a baby in the house, and I was not even really after a bath sponge, but while shopping online at Tesco Grocery I was searching for make-up sponges - which were not there - but seeing that these baby sponges were only 60p for 2 I thought I would buy them anyway and perhaps cut them up to use for my make-up.
===The Product===
'Ideal for keeping baby clean and fresh.'
4 x 2 inches and made in UK.
Warning - small parts could be bitten off.
Two round sponges in a clear plastic packet.
The sponges are a pale yellow/creamy colour.
===Cost===
60p for a pack of 2.
===My Opinion===
It has been many years since I bothered buying a bath sponge but now I am really glad that I have bought these baby sponges.
They are very soft and squishy and a perfect size - even for adults to use. The roundness, combined with the smaller size means they can be held in your hand much more easily than the normal adult size sponges. It s a much softer sort of sponge than the everyday ordinary bath sponge and is really soft to use. I use mine now for showers and baths and they are a super size, soft, lather up well and rinse out really easily. The packet states to 'rinse in clean water and dry in a well ventilated area' - personally after rinsing I give it a good squeeze and then pop it on top of the bathroom radiator - so even if the heating is off the air circulates and it dries out easily.
I am still only using my first one and although I think I could cut the second one up as make-up sponges I do not think I will as I would rather use it for its original purpose when the times comes to get rid of my first one and search out some proper cosmetic sponges for my foundation. The texture of these sponges would be fine for make-up but I am not sure if I could cut it tidily enough.
Although I have not used this sponge on a baby I can see that it is soft and small enough to use and at this price it can be changed regularly if needed to ensure it is as hygienic as possible.
