Not one for a baby with sensitive skin (Tesco My Babys Bedtime Bath)

Advantages: Smells lovely, bubbles up well

Disadvantages: Made our daughter's cradle cap much worse

This product is unbelievably cheap at £1 for a 400ml bottle! Given the price we decided to try it as it is considerably cheaper than the more well known brands! It has a lovely smell to it and bubbles up really well, just a few drops gives lots of bubbles! I had expected it to be really runny given the price and that we would have to use lots so I was quite pleased to see that it is as good quality as Johnsons!

I dont think it made her particularly sleepy when we were bathing in the evening inbstead of the morning, when we were using this however our daughter had dreadful colic and would be soothed by the water but then cry when she was lifted out of the bath and being dried/dressed nulifying any benefit from the soothing smell of the lavender!

We have stopped using this product - I didn't use it every day when I did use it but soon realised that it really flared up her cradle cap - she could have a clear head but the morning after we used this baby bath her head was very dry and scaly, even though I'd only put 3 or 4 drops into a full adult sized bath. Since we've stopped using it her head has been much improved!

Summary: Wouldnt recommend if your baby has sensitive skin
