Advantages: Cheap, soft

Disadvantages: Not as absorbant as better known brands

After only using pampers and huggies nappies when my baby was newborn, I decided to be brave and try some other 'cheaper' brands when she moved into size 2. I started by trying 'Boots' nappies and although I was impressed with these, they were a little on the large side for my baby. I chose Tescos to try next as they were a pound cheaper and this was the supermarket that I happened to visit when I needed nappies.

The Tesco nappies are slightly smaller than the Boots nappies and consequently, fit my baby around the leg much more snugly. As a result of this, we have not yet had any side leakage (yet!!!) They look and feel comfortable, although do leave some body marks and imprints when my baby has been waering the nappy for afew hours.

The nappies leave my baby's bottom dry, although they do not seem to hold as many wees as the boots brand. As a result of this, I seem to be changing nappies more frequently.

Overall, I'm happy with these nappies and the price is good, although I'm not sure they will still be fitting for as long as size 2 nappies within other brands.

Summary: Good value for money
