Advantages: Just as absorbant as the leading brands, more so in some cases.

Disadvantages: Only available at Tesco (obviously!)

After the disaster we had when I decided to try using a Pampers nappy over night I really would not pay more for the more expensive brands if I don't have too.

We have never had a disasterous leak with a Tesco nappy, they fit my daughter well and she has never had a case of nappy rash with them (she did when we used the Pampers Newborn ones in the early days)

The main advantage is they are so much cheaper than the branded nappies. But also that for the reduced price you don't get reduced performance.

They come in newborn, baby essentials and super fit. They do the whole range of sizes - even a preemie size.

Baby essentials are the ones we use overnight for their superb absorbancy and the super fit are for active babies and we use these during the day.

The only nappies I will use are Tesco or Huggies as all others have caused us to have disasters with exploding poo or leaking overnight.

I only ever used a Pampers overnight once as the wee had soaked through my daughters vest, gro, sleeping bag, muslin, sheet and matteress in her crib and was puddled on the board in the bottom of the crib! Poor little mite must have been freezing being so wet!
