Advantages: Everything about them

Disadvantages: i couldn't fine anything wrong with them

I was shopping in Tesco, last week and suddenly remembered my daughter was running low on nappies, so i quickly dashed to the baby aisle, only to find that they didn't have hear size in the normal brand i use- Pampers. So i looked up and down the selves and all that they had where Huggies or Tesco's own brand. Always willing to try something new i picked up the Tesco's range which where £3.99 a pack.

~ What they looked like~

They came in a bright green plastic packet, with the tesco logo, and the words 'super fit nappies' across the front. The nappies them selves did look a bit similar to Pampers, as the main colour was light green, and they had little green designs printed across the whole of the nappy and as with other nappies they had a picture strip across the top where you fasten them.

~The test and did they work~

I started to use them straightaway and was really surprised by there potential considering there where a supermarket own brand, The first thing i noticed was how soft the actual nappy was, and how it wasn't harsh on my daughters skin, other nappies i have used in the past seemed to feel really stiff and did feel uncomfortable on my baby. These seemed to be soft and really flex with my baby, working with her, not against her. I also noticed how big they where compared to Pampers and left my daughter plenty of room around the top.

The tabs to fasten are easy to use, and stick really well and hold the nappy in place. They also fitted quite snuggly around the legs to, and didn't feel to tight, but tight enough to keep the nappy secure properly, and to prevent any leeks.

My biggest test was to see weather ot not it would pass the test of being able to hold out all night. My daughter normally goes to bed at 7.00pm and wakes at around 6-7 in the morning, and i have to say the nappies did me proud, and didn't leak one bit. I found that it really did absorb liquid really well and didn't come out the other end like other brands

~My verdict~

I was really pleased at the quality of these nappies and how they performed, and never let me down. Being a parent im always on the look out for different products for my children, and at the same time try and save money too, these nappies where a bargain at around £3.99 per pack and you save £2.00 if you where to buy a brand pack.

~Summary~ The best supermarket branded nappy i have tried and tested.

Summary: A cheaper alternate to brand products,
