I recently decided that due to the credit crunch (its taking lots of bites at our house) I would try to save money by trying cheaper and supermarket home brands in stead of the big names. That was when I decided to try Tesco's own nappy brand. I now use pull-ups for my son who is nearly two so when I visited my local Tesco I opted for their own version, I usually go for huggies then pampers.

Tesco "Easy Fit Pants" come in at £3.69 for 22 and are available in Maxi Plus, Junior and Extra large. They have the same features as the big brands like rip apart sides and soft stretchy waist bands for comfort and easy removal for when potty training. They are shaped nicely to fit rather than restrict and allow easy movement (unlike Morrison's that have very poor fitting).

I have tried four cheaper makes and these come in second in my opinion (asda was the best) but I would still buy this make again. The only thing I found that puts a bad point in to my experience with this make of nappy is that they didn't hold things in very well. I found as soon as my son was full they would burst their banks so to speak. Even if it was only a couple of minutes since the nappy was filled it would be escaping, this is fine at home as you can change immediately but if you are in the car you can't always stop at once so this was a regular thing if not at home for us and a real down side. I have considered I may need a bigger nappy size so don't rule them out completely

So in all these are fine for emergencies with the price being so good but until I try the next size up I can't complete recommend them.
