Advantages: Dry and keep poo at bay

Disadvantages: Thicker than premium brand nappies

When my daughter was first born we used Pampers and Huggies but when she moved onto the next size up we decided to try cheaper brand because she was pooing a lot and we were changing her almost every hour.

We tried the Tescos own brand of nappies and were pleasantly surprised with the results.

They hold a good amount of wee and poo - my daughter has always been quite loose with her bowel movements and these nappies were up to the challenge. There was no leakage from the sides and they did keep her bottom fairly dry from urine.

The down side to these nappies are that they are thicker than the premium brands. My daughter is very slight and the nappies did seem big on her compared to the pampers.

Now she is older the nappies do seem a better fit and still we are having no problems with them.

These nappies are considerably cheaper than the premium brands and excellent value for money.

Summary: All round good buy - excellent value for money
