Advantages: Good value for money

Disadvantages: Occasional night time leaks

We have two children in nappies and over the years have tried various brands of nappies, from "big name" brands like Pampers and Huggies to supermarket brands such as Tesco and Asda. And our brand of choice? Tesco's own brand nappies! There are several reasons for this: firstly, Tesco's own nappies offer a significant cost saving when compared to big name brands (note: the exception to this is when big brands do special offers - then it's worth double checking). At the time of writing, a pack of 50 nappies to fit my younger child cost £5.59 (11p per nappy) whereas the same size of nappy in Pampers brand costs £5.86 for only 36 nappies (16p per nappy). This 5p difference per nappy soon adds up! But even with cost savings, we still wouldn't use Tesco nappies if they weren't reliable - and they ARE. Of all the brands we've tried, we've had few leakages with Tesco and they do tend to last well overnight, although we have had a few overnight leaks. They're soft and comfortable for the baby to wear and we haven't experienced any nappy rash with them. They come in a good range of sizes, including up to large toddler sizes for late potty users, and they've always been a good fit for our children.

Summary: These are good value nappies which are soft and reliable to use.
