Advantages: Cheap and reliable

Disadvantages: Slightly thicker than Pampers

Tesco are my nappy of preference. I have used Pampers, Sainsburys and Huggies with no adverse reaction to my baby's skin. I have found Tesco, Sainburys and Pampers to all be very similar in terms of look, and usage. Pampers are slightly thinner than the own brand but as even on special offer they are not any cheaper I personally don't think that this is worth paying for.

My son is a fairly heavy wetter, especially overnight when he was waking for feeds and the Tesco's nappies performed great even when they seemed to be bursting at the seams in the morning we very rarely had any leaking (we have very occasionally had a leak at night, but this is true of all brands). The nappies seem quite a secure and generous fit, although my son seems better suited to nappies that he is at the bottom end of the weight range for, again this is true of all brands we use.

My personal preference for Tesco comes because I like the design on the nappy and find it less tacky looking than some of the other own brands.

Summary: My nappy of choice
