Advantages: Smells great, Inexpensive
Disadvantages: Can only buy at Tesco!
Forget the kids, this is one for us Biggies! Ok, so you want to know which one I'm talking about? Tesco toddler detangling Shampoo. If you like the smell of fresh shampoos (ie The Bodyshop type of stuff) then this is one for you. It smells like freshly squeezed grapefruit juice. Now I know some of you will be thinking, What! who the hell wants to wash their hair in that? Believe me, its smells wonderful. It's one of those smells that wakes you up first thing in the morning. Don't take my word for it, the next time you go to Tesco, even if you don't intend buying it just take a sniff (it's a flip top lid, so nobody can tell you have had a whiff and you haven't done any damage anyway). Now, if you do decide to 'waste it' on your little ones it is a no tears formula and has been dermatologically tested so there shouldn't be any problems there. It produces quite a good lather but not too much (it's hell sometimes trying to get the suds out of a toddlers hair if they don't like getting their face wet - which more often than not happens). To be quite honest, I didn't notice any difference regarding tangles. Now, I'm not sure how much it costs as I got mine free with Huggies Swimmers (see my opinion on those later ) but as they are a Tesco range product I wouldn't imagine that it would be expensive. It comes in a 200ml bottle which I think is the average size these days for shampoo (so if you did decide to use it on the little mites it will last ages!). Oh and last but now least, it wasn't tested on animals.
