Advantages: great soft wipe that does its job well

Disadvantages: bit smaller than other wipes

I normally use either Boots cotton soft baby wipes or pampers baby wipes as these are excellent wipes and are very plyable unlike some of the thicker wipes.

I bought Tesco's own brand of cotton soft wipes basically because they didnt have any of the pampers wipes in stock. These are an excellent wipe. They are like a peice of cottton, so are very soft on those delicate little areas! They also moist enough, I've found some wipes are either too dry or dripping wet! These also smell quite nice as well as they have got added baby lotion in them!

I'd definetly recommend them if you are looking for a soft plyable baby wipe , they are a kin to Boots cotton soft wipes. The only disadvantage with them is they do look to be a bit smaller than the Boots and Pampers wipes so you might need more of them if you've got a "horrendous" nappy to change!

unfortunately like also called disposable products they are not biodegradable, I must admit I do try to recycle as much as possible eg we have the green bin scheme here - all none wet waste goes in this bin to be sorted, i've also got a compost bin,and make regular trips to the bottle bank ( not just with my wine bottles!!!) It doesnt really justify my use of baby wipes and disposable nappies, but they are incredibly handy. I did use cloth nappies for about 6 months, but I do still feel guilty about using non biodegradable products.

Been a while since I have been a 'baby's' mum. Whatever happened to the wipes produced by Maws? The ones in the orange box? I used to swear by these.

How do you dispose of them? Are they bio-degradable so you can flush them, or do you put them out for the dustmen? I don't have children, but I do have a big problem with the ethics of disposable nappies and products like this.
