Thin and small wipes (Tesco Value Baby Wipes)
Member Name: morwenna13
Advantages: Cheap, do the job Disadvantages: Not great for heavy duty use Tesco Value Baby Wipes are cheap and cheerful but probably not great for any major poo incidents! I like to try cheaper alternatives and having a 2 year old myself, I know all about wet wipes. You can easily spend a fortune on these things at around £2 a pack of 80, especially if you use them to wipe bottoms with too. So anyway, I tried these Value wipes and probably wouldn't buy them again to be honest. They were very small and thin, almost transparent in fact! They don't have any luxury feel to them and are quite scratchy on a baby's delicate skin. Having said this, they are probably fine to put in an 'out and about' bag if you don't rely on them for heavy usage, fine for wiping hands and faces. The good thing about these is that they are cheap, so good to alternate these with better quality ones. I would also add that cheap baby wipes such as these are great for other cleaning uses too, I recently used some of these to clean my car's interior dashboard etc and they worked a treat. Summary: Try these for minor use, good for 'out and about' use. |
