Advantages: Great value for those who prefer them

Disadvantages: too thin, didn't clean, not soft

As with any new mother I was on the hunt for wipes and to find the most cost effective and durable is quite a challenge. Which is what brought me to the Tesco range of wipes, nappies etc. I saw these and thought "why not" as they were so cheap. Later I was asking myself just "why did I?".

The overall packaging is simple - being a tesco brand it has the logo on and is white and blue. As with any other wipes they have a seal which can be lifted and pulled to reveal wet wipes that can be used to clean up any messy bums, make-up or for just a wipe. On the packaging it clearly states baby wipes and so this was my main reason for purchase.

When I opened the product and took out a wipe I was not overly impressed but didn't wipe out the product altogether either. I tried to use it on my little ones bottom and found that the wipe dried out far too quickly and wasn't actually cleaning him. I had use a number of wipes (where I would normally use around 2-3 in total) and with a squirming baby who just wants to get up - it proved very difficult. I ended up washing him bum with water instead.

I then decided that these were not for babies but maybe I could use them for cleaning surfaces and general use. 4 months down the line - they are still sat on the table and have only been used a couple of times where they tore, dried out too quickly and were of no use. Even for a bargain I think I still over paid for this product that I didn't really use. I cant see myself recommending it others and/or buying it again - however I have read very good reviews so maybe some may find them better - for me I think I'll stick to ASDA brand which I found much better.

Summary: Didnt think they did the job
