Has she really lost it I hear you say? Is pan her way of saying bottom or some thing no no I really mean pan, cooking pan the sort we used on our camping gaz to cook our dinner with on holiday, you know the sort that come nesting in each other. However lets get on with it I shall begin at the beginning We had our evening meal in a grassy area overlooking a river with a wonderful view of the mountains what a great position for a restaurant We had cooked ourselves a lovely meal of bacon tomatoes onions and the rest on our camping gaz Cleaning pan time came after the wine I saw what a messs the pan was in brown/ black stuck on bits. We had lost our green scoring pad just had a j cloth no scouring cream what to do? When we go on holiday I usually have a tub of wet wipes in the car just in case there is no water for a clean up and to freshen ourselves. This time it was a tub of 100 Tesco value wipes. Nick said," Why don't we try the wet wipes they will get some of the gunge off". So I duly passed him the wet wipes while I drank wine. He wiped the pan, put more pressure on the burnt bits, and said,"This is working ok. Its good." I passed him another wet wipe and had another glug of wine. He wiped and scoured the pan with the Tesco's value wet wipe, rinsed the pan with water and held it up proudly for me to see it was clean and bright and shiny wow! The pan came clean without too much effort ,(particularly from me). We did wash the pan with washing up liquid and water afterwards to ensure there were no harmful chemicals left in the cooking pan. We were delighted by the performance of Tesco value wipes for cleaning baked on grease on our cooking pan. So if you get stuck for a scourer try wet wipes. Just got the tub to look at the ingredients It says ideal for baby and all the family contain Mild cleansing agents <br>In

- 25/08/02 Novel idea. I'd let my other half do that, and I'll join you in the wine drinking, lol. Ang. |

- 24/08/02 There's something I'd never have thought of. The wine drinking sounds best of all though!

- 24/08/02 Yes baby wipes seem to have many uses we cleaned our shoes with them when we were away and I have discovered they are good for household cleaning too. |
