Advantages: Cheap

Disadvantages: Too thin

Browsing the baby wipe range in Tesco, I noticed Tesco do their own baby value wipes for 44p! A 100 wipes for that low price I thought I would give them a go! 44p compared to £1.74 for my usual Johnsons brand, I can't believe how much money I could save if these were any good.

Heres what Tesco say
--------------------

value wipes are ideal for baby and all the family. They contain mild cleansing agents and are ideal for use in the home or when travelling.

In my opinion.....

Smell
--------

A weird sort of smell. They smell a bit like baby talcum powder mixed with a citrusy smell, I can't quite put my finger on it but it does take a bit of getting used to. The smell isn't endearing at first but after a few wipes used I quite like the smell.

Texture of Wipe
----------------

Very thin in texture compared to your normal wipe, but then your not going to get delux for 44p! These I found did a very good job on no1's on my little one, but when it came to the big no2, I needed a thicker better quality wipe, as the wipe isnt thick enough for jobs like this, it leaked through and I ended up using about 5 in one go. I cant believe I am talking about this! I do apologise.
I did find these handy for freshning both me and baby up in this hot weather though! A nice handy cheap product to keep in your changing bag or car for emergencies.

Packaging
----------

You get a hundred wipes which come in a white plastic round top wipe container with a blue lid with the Tesco standard value design on the front of the bland packaging. I found threading through the wipes when you start the packet difficult to do, the hole isnt big enough, surprising when the wipes are so thin.

Ingredients of Wipe
---------------------
Aqua, Propylene Glycol, Disodium, disodium Phosphate,Cocoamphodiacetate, phenoxyethanol, polysorbate 20,methylparaben,citric acid, sodium chloride, di
sodium edta,aloe barbadensis, propyparaben, 2 bromo 2 nitroprpane 1 3 diol parfum.

On the whole for 44p a packet these wipes are good value for use in the home or when travelling and they did last me about two weeks using every day for baby and myself, but I would use something a bit thicker and better for baby changing!
