... down the toilet, which is fairly obvious and should be disposed of in the bin. Also, they need to be stored away from children to prevent suffocation, fairly simple advice to follow. The bags cost 38p for 100, so I think they are very good value, I also use them for when I take the dog out. The only problem I have found with them is that sometimes they split and they aren't that strong, so I tend to end up doubling them up but otherwise I am quite happy with them. I would recommend them as at the end of the day they...more

Premium Review Tesco Value Fragranced Nappy Bags: Changing needn't be too smelly (936 words)

Just as I was all set to write a review of Tesco Value Fragranced Nappy Bags they change them! Alas, not for the better but they’re still my recommendation. Nappy bags are a necessary evil for those of us “non-greenies” who opted to use disposable nappies on our children. This is even more the case when you live in an area where the bin collections are fortnightly. Trust me, 7 day-old nappies are bad; 14, unbearable! There are a number of options open to try if you so desire from nappy disposal units which use cartridges of bags through to the more traditional nappy sacks. In fact, even if you opt for a disposal unit, chances are you’ll have a ...  Read the complete review

Review of Tesco Value fragranced nappy bags **THE PRODUCT** Tesco Value Nappy bags as the name implies, are a disposal bag designed for used nappies. They are lightly fragranced to mask unpleasant odours associated with used nappies. The product is basically a pale turquoise/blue plastic bag, large enough to take a soiled nappy and the accompanying baby wipes, cotton wool, loo paper or whatever else a modern mother cleans their baby with! The bags have a pair of loop type handles which can be securely tied for depositing in the nearest bin. The fragrance is rather delicate and quite difficult to describe, the nearest I can compare it to is a sort of baby ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Tesco Value Fragranced Nappy Bags: Don't Poo Poo This Idea (433 words)

One hundred nappy bags for 38p, what an absolute bargain! I`m afraid my nappy bag days have long gone but I still have to find an inexpensive way of dealing with the `doggy poo` . You just try putting that nicely lol it is a bit tricky! Every carrier bag that comes into our house is stashed away in a drawer as if it were gold dust and then taken out for a walk. But times they are a changing and when you ask for a carrier bag in most supermarkets you are frowned upon, you are supposed to buy the everlasting bags, canvas and jute shoppers. Plastic carrier bags are no longer PC. I bought two shopping bags from Wilkinson`s for 49p each and they are great but ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Do the job just fine (291 words)

Not the most pleasant of subjects but all new parents are faced with the dilmema of 'having to dispose of those yukky nappies' and also how to try and contain the inevitable smell. With two young children I have been faced with this problem and have alway opted for buying fragranced nappy bags which you can chuck in the dirty nappies and wipes and then tie it up before placing in the rubbish. Up until recently I have been purchasing the higher priced range from my local Tescos but due to the sheer volume of nappies my daughter seems to be getting through, i thought i give the value range a try. Costing around 25p for 100 bags the value range the bags are ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Tesco Value Fragranced Nappy Bags: Top nappy bags (250 words)

Well, it's the unpleasant side of bringing up a baby, the old soiled nappy change. But it has to be done, and anything we can buy that makes the experience more bearable is more than welcome! The beauty of nappy bags is that they keep the nappy and the smells locked in, and stop your wheelie bin smelling of dirty nappy. I've tried a good few kinds of nappy bag, but some of the more fancy ones are a little expensive when you are using a lot of them. Thats what encouraged me to try Tesco fragranced nappy bags. At 29p for 100, or a more impressive 75p for 300, I felt they were worth a go. Each bag is made of very thin shiny ...  Read the complete review
