I have used Sudocrem on my little dot since the day she was born but decided to try this product for a change after noticing it a few weeks ago when I did my monthly shop. I have used it for a week now and decided to let others know what is in that little white pot! Here goes...

Fragrance and colour and packaging...
This product is white in colour and completely fragrance free. The pot that I purchased is round and a similar style to the Sudocrem pot, however the lid is less likely to fall off! Every experience I have ever had of Sudocrem has been messy due to the lid not staying on the pot, thumbs up to Tesco for a better pot design! The pot is white with a pink label(similar to picture shown) It depicts a happy looking baby and clearly states the benefits of the product.

Size and Cost...
I paid 98p for this in my local Tesco, you can also purchase it from www.tesco.com for 94p for a 150ml pot.

Ingredients and other important bits...
Aqua, Zinc Oxide, Petrolatum, Paraffinium Liquidum, Lanolin, Cera Microcristallina, Sorbitan Isostearate, Glycerin, Magnesium Sulfate, Imidazolidinyl urea, Butylparaben, BHT
Avoid contact with eyes and rinse with warm water if contact does occur. For external use only.

This product should be used within twelve months. It is produced in the UK for Tesco Stores Ltd, Chesnut EN8 9SL, freephone 0800 50 55 55

What is the product like and did it work? ...
This product is anti bacterial and designed for use at every nappy change to treat and prevent that nasty nappy rash that likes to attack our little babies and cause them discomfort. As mentioned earlier it is fragrance free. Obviously I am unable to ask my daughter whether or not this product soothes as she is only one year old, however she did have a slight amount of nappy rash while teething a few days ago and it cleared up fairly quickly.

I am sure most parents are aware that nappy creams seem to get everywhere no matter how careful you are and they tend to stain everything they touch, I must be honest though and admit that although I did get some of this on my favourite pair of black trousers they did clean up well with only one wash compared to the usual two, however I may have been lucky so I wouldn't recommend letting your child use you as a drawing board during nappy changing!

This product is rather gloopy and runny compared to other nappy creams but the smoother texture ensures easy application, although it is runnier it is not greasy and it does create an even barrier to keep out that mischevious moisture that causes all the problems.

As well as preventing nappy rash I have also noticed that it is a fairly good moisturiser and prevents skin chaffing.

Please note that I also write on ciao.co.uk and this review appears there.

Summary: Would buy again!
