Advantages: lets you have a hand free to wash your baby

I originally thought this was an unnecessary buy to start with but my friend insisted i buy one before the baby and thankgoodness i did! When i first bathed my baby i was a nervous wreck and was all fingers and thumbs and very scared i would drop him - this suport allowed to the peace of mind that he wouldnt slip under water and let me wash him properly. He fitted it up to about 4 weeks but by then i had my confidence but without the support i think i would have needed someone to help hold him while i got the towel ready etc and you need peace of mind when dealing with a screaming baby. I chose this over a foam one as it just looked sturdier and i wasnt looking for comfort rather safety and i feel this did make bathtime safer for my son.

Summary: made me confident with bathing on my own
