When placed in the tub each used nappy is wrapped in the film sealing in smells germs and mess. The twist and seal mechanism makes sure that all nappies are safely stored in separate airtight sections out of sight out of mind. The tub comes with one cassette.

... quite straightforward though - you just put a cartidge full of one continous bin liner in the top and feed the liner through and knot it so the nappies don't fall out the other end! Every time you use it, you just put the nappy in, push it down a bit then twist the handle under the lid to 'seal' it off. Once full, you have a cutting device within the lid that works once a button is pressed. In theory, you then have a big bin liner to carry out and you just knot the new liner in the same way as the first. Howeve...more

Premium Review Tommee Tippee Nappy Wrapper Tub: A 'nice to have' baby product (378 words)

I was given the Tommee Tippee Nappy Wrapper as a gift at my baby shower and although I thought initially that it was an essential piece of nursery kit, I have to say that it is a 'nice to have' but not really a necessity. I live in a second floor flat so getting to the outside rubbish bin is pretty much not going to happen with a little baby so this nappy wrapper does come in useful but when it is eventually full, I tend to just throw subsequent nappies in the kitchen bin before remembering to empty the nappy wrapper. Using it is quite straightforward though - you just put a cartidge full of one continous bin liner in the top and feed the liner ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Clever idea but could do with some improvement (220 words)

We purchased one of these before my daughter was born as we thought it was an excellent way to save endless trips to the wheelie bin. It is a clever but simple idea you simply put the nappy into the top section of the bin and turn the handle and this wraps the nappy in frangranced bin liner. I found that it doesn't get rid of smells completely. There are two stages of nappy wrapper refils 0 to 6 months & 6 months plus. I think that once your baby is on solids you need a nappy wrapper refil that is a little more heavy duty! The only problem that we had with the nappy wrapper that we purchased is that there is a section of the bin that holds the ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Tommee Tippee Nappy Wrapper Tub: Gift wrap your nappies for the binmen (730 words)

This is a bin designed to store used (i.e. dirty) disposable nappies. It has won various awards including the 'Parenting Editor's Award', 'I'm Pregnant Magazine Best Buy' and a 'Mother & Baby Award' for nursery equipment and is currently available for £9.99 (66% off!) in Mothercare or £14.99 from Kiddicare.com I've managed without a specific nappy bin for the first four Little HonestBobs, the nappies were just taken straight off baby and out into the wheelie bin during the day or tied into a scented nappy sack and placed in a tied rubbish bin during the night. But Littlest HonestBob's Daddy is a lazy slob and I knew I'd be treading on dirty nappies left on ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Fancy turning nappies into sausages? (372 words)

We bought this nappy wrapper several months before little man was born, as it was on offer in Tesco. Not relishing the thought of traipsing downstairs to the bin with a nappy bag every time we changed his nappy, we thought that this would be a simple way of disposing with all the icky stuff quickly and cleanly. The wrapper is simple to use and set up. You load a cassette into the top, which contains basically a long tube of wrap. You tie a knot into the top, and push it down through a tube with a catch on the end. Every time you use a nappy, push it down until it reaches the catch, twist the top and then push the package into the bin. When the bin is full, you ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Tommee Tippee Nappy Wrapper Tub: A smelly nappy wrapper (242 words)
by - written on 14/10/08 (Very useful, 67 readings)

I brought this nappy wrapper just before my daughter was born as it was on special offer. Unfortunately two weeks after she was born it went down in price again and I actuall paid above the odds. This proves you can pick up some great deals on this though. I find this product really useful, it is kept in my bathroom and I just put the nappies in when finished with them. Unfotunately the nappy wrapper starts smelling awful after just a day and considering this is to stop the smell I find this really aggrevating. After emptying the nappy wrapper a few times the bin itself started to smell and even after emptying it the smell was still lingering. Even ...  Read the complete review
