Advantages: Keeps nappies in one place

My girlfriend and I was given this nappy wrapper as a gift to us from her mum before Amber was born. She is now 7 days old and we have used it about twice.

While its sitting in her bedroom looking quite neat and tidy, and keeps dirty nappies out of the way. 9 times out of 10 before we have realised its there we have put the nappy in a nappy bag and put it in the bin.

What the product is, is once you have taken the nappy of your child you then put it in the top of the nappy wrapper and twist it at the top. The nappy then gets wrapped up in a fragranced anti-bacterial film and they get strung together like sausages into the bin below it.

That sounds all very well and good. But what's wrong with just putting it in a bag and putting it in a bin?

Although this product looks good, it is a bit of a needless thing which no one really needs.

The idea is that it keeps nappies away from your bin and stores them in here to stop smells and filling your bin up. We have put more nappies in out bin that in this nappy wrapper and we haven't smelt anything from our bins.

These bins also work out quite expensive as you have to keep buying cassettes for them which is the anti bacterial film when it runs out.

The Tommee Tipee nappy wrapper is a very good idea and product, but, you just don't really need it.
