A glorified bin - don't be fooled! (Tommee Tippee Nappy Wrapper Tub)
Member Name: Babybrainmummy
Advantages: The bin itself is very cheap Disadvantages: It doesn't work and the cartridges make it very expensive I thought this was such a bargain when I found it reduced to £10 a couple of months before my baby was born. The premise of this bin (and that's what it is, lets call a spade a spade here!) is that it has a cartridge that is placed at the top to create a lining. As nappies are placed into the bin you have to push them into the lining through a rather small entrance. This is rather unpleasant, as you really don't want to squeeze the nappy, but this inevitably happens! Once the nappy is pushed down you are meant to turn the dial on the top of the bin to seal the nappy in. This is where my biggest issue lies. To all intends and purposes the advertsing gunf suggests that the nappy is now locked away in an airtight section of the liner. In my experience this is all well and good until you empty the bin - as you lift out the used 'airtight sections' they all unfurl until all you have is a large sack full of pooey nappies. The cassette only lasts around a week and you constantly have to empty the bin as it is so small. Save your money and buy cheap nappy bags! Summary: A waste of money - if only it did what it claimed and had twice the capasity. |
