My daughter has lots of little toys for the bath and since moving we have had nowhere to store them properly so I started to look for a bath tidy. Eventually, I came across this Winnie The Pooh one and I thought it would be perfect and it was fairly cheap for £3.00 plus postage off of eBay.
The Winnie The Pooh bath tidy is made by Tommee Tippee so it is a well known brand and I thought due to that this would be a good product but I was left disappointed.
The bath tidy comes in a blister pack the same as the one pictured - Disney with fluffy white clouds and blue skies with the tidy covered with plastic. The tidy itself is made from white mesh with a blue trim and two Winnie The Pooh suckers which are heads. When I took the tidy out of the back, you had to loop the two strings at either end of the mesh netting through the back of the Winnie The Pooh heads. On the back of the heads were suckers. All that is left to do is to sucker it all to the bath or to the bathroom tiles. Easy enough.
The heads are made of a solid plastic which can be squeezed a bit. The net is pretty well made and stitched together well. It looks pretty durable.
The mesh bag to keep the toys in isn't overly large so there was no way all of my daughter's toys were going to fit in but then I didn't expect them to. I decided as I was going to sucker this bath tidy to the wall, it would be best to just put the lighter items in. I fitted in a rubber duck, a swimming fish and a couple of sponges. I then wet the suckers and stuck them to the tiles. Job done. And everything looked tidy too.
About half an hour after I had stuck this to the wall, I had a crash in the bathroom and there on the floor was the bath tidy. The suckers had seemingly failed. This went on for the rest of the day until I admitted defeat but I wouldn't let it beat me, oh no. Off I went to the cupboard, smeared some glue on to each of the suckers and glued them in place. Haha! I won!
This was disappointing as a product as there was barely any weight in the tidy to make it fall down so much and you really shouldn't have to use glue to make it do the job it is supposed to do. A bit of a let down from Tommee Tippee.
