When in the seat my son quickly grew frustrated at not being able to kick and splash so freely. when he could sit by himself well enough to safely use the seat, he did not appreciate being restricted. I also found it difficult to wash his bottom when he was sitting in the seat, without the seat it is easy to lift him up a little to wash him. I purchased a tomy bath seat when my son was 6 months old months old and starting to sit up by himself, I liked the idea of having my hands free to play with his toys with him. The bath seat is a round ridged plastic ring about 12 inches high, in which the baby sits, the seat is then placed into the bath complete with baby! The seat attaches to the bath with 4 suction cups, which simply stick on to the bottom of the bath. However I found that the suction pads often came unstuck making the seat unstable. I purchased a tomy baby bath seat when I had my first baby. I liked the idea that she could sit up in the bath with out me having to hold her, which was easier for washing her hair. But you must NEVER leave your baby in the seat and go out of the room just in case something did happen ...  Read the complete review

This seat has four strong suckers on the base which holds it in place. It has a drop down front which makes it easy to put your baby in and out. This drop down section clips very securely into place and has 3 shells on it that spin round, one clicks. The whole seat is extremely solid. It enables my daughter to play without being restricted with me holding her. As long as you don't leave your baby unattended this seat is a must. ...  Read the complete review
