Advantages: Easy to clean, sticks well to bath side

Disadvantages: not that good value

I bought this item for my sons 2nd birthday. He loves his baths and loves his Thomas the Tank toys even more. I bought the item in the january sale for about £5, (I think the origional price was roughly £10 or £15). I was quite excited when i bought it as i thought this would be the toy to beat all bath toys, Thomas flies down his ramp, you can press a button to make bubbles, there is a water bucket with a well underneath which turns with the flow of the water. It is handy as it sticks to the side of the bath tub, and promises hours of bathtime fun. It also includes a boat.

However I must admit, im very dissapointed with the product. It really is one of those products where you really are paying for the brand, there are loads of other similar bath toys on the market for half the price and have many more features.
The ramp that Thomas 'flies' down easily comes away for storage, but it can still come off quite often while my son is playing with it. The button you press that makes the bubbles is fairly stiff and my son finds it hard to press the button because it so stiff.
The boat that comes with the toy is part of the thomas set, but seems a bit out of place in this set as there is nowhere on the island for it.

The Islands attaches to either the side of the bath, or bathroom tiles using silicone 'suckers'. These are a decent size, and are pretty tough. My product is 7 months old and has yet to have fallen off during play.

Cleaning can be tricky as there are a few many nooks and cranies. The good point is that it is a bath toy, and is designed to get very wet, so you can leave it to have good soak in some warm soapy water, and then give it a good rinse.

All in all, this is a good toy and my son does really like playing with it (it is now about 7 months old.) Though for what your actually getting, it may be worth investigating other products on the market, unless you get it at a good sale price like i did!

Summary: A good toy, but not worth the almost £15 as some stores ask!
