Advantages: Keeps children entertained.
Disadvantages: The slide falls of.
My son received this item for his 2nd Christmas as he is mad
on Thomas. The set consists of the Bath Island with a number of
fun things to do, Thomas and a boat.
The Island itself sticks to the bath or wall by Suction caps.
I have found that these work really well and the Island very
rarely falls off the bath. This is great as it means my son
gets uninterrupted play.
The bath island itself has a shed in which you can place Thomas this has
a slide coming from it. You pull a little lever which looks like
a signal and Thomas will fly down the slide into the bath. This has proved
much fun for my son. The only downside to this is the slide comes off which can be a little annoying. However, for little children who do not realise there own strength I suppose that this is not too bad as better than it getting broken.
There is also a water tower which you can fill with water to
turn a water wheel. This is where the boat comes in handy as you can fill the boat with water for pouring into the tower.
There is also a way in which you can make bubbles. Fill a little
hole with something soapy add a little water press a button and watch
the bubbles come out, the button for this is a little stiff but my son manages it.
The quality of this toy is really good and has lasted a long time and will
last a long time to come.
I do agree with what the other reviewer has said in that the boat
seems a little lost but it is a nice addition as something extra to play
with in the bath.
All in all I would say that this is a great toy and has provided many
hours of fun and entertainment for my son. I do think that this is good value for money as something similar from somewhere like ELC would cost a similar amount but without the brand of Thomas.
Summary: A good product and would recommend it.
