Vaseline : Pure petroleum Jelly.
I have been using vaseline for years, I remember my mum having it and my gran having it.
I have a little pocket sized tin of vaseline 20g costs about 99p, which I always carry about with me, I mainly use this is winter when I go out to prevent my lips from getting chapped and dry.
You can get the pocket sized one with an Aloe Vera extract in it, but I dont like the smell of this one.
I have a 100g gram pot of vaseline in the bathroom cupboard, if i get dry skin i put vaseline on and it clears up fairly quickly.
When my hubby has a cold he smears this on the end of his nose, to stop it drying up when he has been constantly wiping it.
The back of the vaseline says "Effective emollient for skin and lips, proven for generations to care for babies skin."
At is also great for greasing things ie:my daughters earring wouldnt go in easily, so I smeared the earing stem and her ear in vaseline and it just slid in.
A must have for any household
