Advantages: It has so many uses!

Disadvantages: A little greasy

I don't think I know anyone who hasn't come across, 'Vasline' at some point in their life. It's just one of those brands that have become a part of living. And I know this because even my dad swears by it and you cant get a more macho man then him! But if I ever go to my parents late in the evening, I'd catch my dad in his pajamas smothering vasline onto his heels. He says it prevents his feet from chapping.

So what is this product?

Vasline is petroleum jelly thats clear in colour and fragrant-free. It is great for protecting the skin and moisturising chapped, flakey and extremely dry skin. It also has a whole host of other uses too like lubricating, aiding the application and removal of make-up, preventing nappy rash, soothing burns and so on.

You can buy vasline in a off white squarish tub with a blue label. It comes in various sizes, but the 100g tub is a handy choice to keep in your bag. You can expect to pay between £1 and £2 for it.

This product is a real must-have, you just can't go wrong purchasing it!
