Advantages: great prevention of nappy rash, teething rash, cracked lips

Vaseline is a product that has always been a part of my life from well as far back as i can remember, it isnt something that has always had a daily use but has always been in my mothers bathroom cabinet and now in ours too.

It is a relatively cheap product to purchase and is available in tubs of varying sizes, i have a small tin type tub of this in my hand bag that gets a lot of use for dry lips with me and my daughters now aged 4 and 6, this has a lift off lid and is realy convenient as it is only small so can go everywhere with us, it helps to prevent our lips cracking in the cold weather and drying out with the heaters in the car although it isnt brilliant for repairing already cracked lips, With it being clear it is suitable for men and women as it has no coloued tinge to it like other lip treatments.

I have a larger tub of this in the bathroom cabinet as i find it very effective for applying to areas of dry skin as they first appear and stop it getting any worse and help to replace some of the lost moisture, When my daughters were babies it was great as a barrier cream to prevent nappy rash and teething rash around there necks and will definately be something i will be using with the new arrival although it doesnt actually clear up nappy rash if it is already there but it is great for creating a waterproof barrier to stop the rash developing.

A fantastic preventative that is cheap to buy.
