Vaseline Pure Petroleum Jelly is probably hiding in the cupboard in everyone's house! It is a bargain at only 99p for a small 50g tub. It comes in a clear container that has a white and blue lid - the words "Vaseline" are clearly shown and marked. It really can't get any simpler then that. The lid clicks on and off easily - not safe for small children if they get their hands on it so make sure that it is out of the way. There isn't a smell to Vaseline and is quite thick in texture - you will only need a small amount to spread evenly.

I have found so many usages for Vaseline but still think there are many more! one of which using it to calm the skin around my nose if I have a cold - this acts as a barrier between my skin and any tissues I use. Great for chapped lips. Any dry areas such as hands and feet - if you have dry cracked heels you can use this as a moisturiser before bed (especially in the cold winters approaching!). I've used it on my little boy for help with nappy rash, also on his skin where he has small dry patches (this is usually gone in a couple of days of applying).

It is great value for money - there is a lifespan of 3 years and you only really need to use a fraction of it to cover a great area. I've never had a reaction from using Vaseline - I have tried other products in the Vaseline range but have found this to be the most cost effective and useful.
