Vaseline, so simple, but also very useful

I have always noticed that my eyes don’t agree with Mascara, as my eyes are very sensitive, so whilst attending a short "Hair and Make-up" course a few months back, I was recommended by the beauty therapist, to use Vaseline instead of Mascara.

The woman teaching the course, told me to use a old mascara brush, with a bit of Vaseline on it, and I was astonished with the results, it was as if I had proper Mascara on, but it has the advantage of not running and is very easily wiped off cleanly.

Another useful tip I was shown was, whilst plucking or brushing your eyebrows, apply a bit of Vaseline to a brush, this will learn your eyebrows to stay in shape and give them a much neater look.

Vaseline also has lots of other uses, which include things like applying it to chapped lips or dry skin on your hands, and it will moisturize them.

Vaseline is a lot more economical than using Mascara, as a decent tube of Mascara, will set you back about £5, whilst you can buy a large tub of Vaseline for around £3, and it will last much longer and also has a lot more uses.
