Try saying that when you've had a few! Not that I would drink whilst writing (and I suppose saying that I was celebrating the England game won't do! ;-D). Vaseline is petroleum jelly. It is basically an emollient and is fantastic for chapped skin. I personally think that it tastes bloody awful and wouldn't put in on my ... Read the complete review

There are so many things that vaseline petroleum jelly is good for. I was first introduced to it as a small child, and would not be without it these days. I will list some of the more obvious uses, and perhaps leave a few only implied.... ************* For the face: During the winter, we all get colds, (except for ... Read the complete review

Vaseline- a tub of Jelly. A very versitlle jelly indeed. I think it's best used as lip balm/gloss, it makes them shiny, lasts longer than proper lip gloss and leaves them soft and smooth. You can use it for loads of things, my nan uses is to clear up dry skin on her face (but use to much and your skin will look greasy), my auntie uses ... Read the complete review

Now i'm sure all u gurls out there have looked everywhere for a decent lip gloss. I no i have. All the lip glosses i have tried always seem to come off as soon as u have put them on. I now use Vasaline, it may sound really tacky but it really works. It keeps your lips soft and it also does not come off for ages. It is also really glossy and makes ... Read the complete review

Vaseline is a product that everybody knows. Most of us would have used it for some purpose or the other in our lifetime. I would like to share my views on the Vaseline Petroleum Jelly. Its main uses are as a dressing for minor burns, cuts, skin irritations and sunburn. The thing about Vaseline is that it can be used for ... Read the complete review

To exfoliate your lips put some vaseline on a tooth brush and brush your lips. It will leave them smother, softer and all round nicer to look at! Vaseline has it's good points but as you will see, a disadvantage is that it pongs! This smell did often put me when putting it on my lips, also the fact that if you accidently get a ... Vaseline, so simple, but also very useful I have always noticed that my eyes don’t agree with Mascara, as my eyes are very sensitive, so whilst attending a short "Hair and Make-up" course a few months back, I was recommended by the beauty therapist, to use Vaseline instead of Mascara. The woman teaching the ... Read the complete review

I first tried Vaseline about 3 years ago because it was all over every magazine I was reading (not literally of course) as the best beauty product available. I considered buying some for ages but eventually I could resist no more. So off I went to my local chemist and bought a HUGE tub of white petroleum jelly(I was told its exactly the ... Ever wondered where Vaseline came from? Well it all started around the time oil was first found in Pennsylvania in 1859. Robert Augustus Cheesebrough, a 22 year old chemist realised that oil and petroleum products would be a fuel of the future. Cheesebrough noticed that a colourless film was deposited around the pump rods on the oil ... Read the complete review

It is white, thick and greasy. Yes you guessed it is Vaseline. The eighth wonder of the world. Where would us girlies be with out it? A lot less gorgeous. (I can only speak for myself) Vaseline is a by-product of fuel. So when they drill the oil and refine it for petrol what you smother all over your face is the left ... Read the complete review

I've been using Vaseline since I was a kid, it was always in the house and now that I've grown up I intend for it always to stay in the same place I'm living. The main positive attribute it has is that you can basically use it for anything, including chapped lips which is my fave product as a sufferer(especially good if you buy a small ... For years I bought lip balm. Fruity, flavoured, scented, glittered, with knobs on. Vaseline is none of these. But it could kick each and every ones lil' punk ass into submission. Seriously, Vaseline is to the world of beauty products what the Victorianox is to the world of penknives. My eyes are now firmly opened to the wonder that is ... Read the complete review

Vaseline has been around before our grandparents were born, and it remains a reliable and economical purchase of multiple uses today, in this, the 21st century. It is one of those products that takes us from nappy rash as babies through to chapped lips and sore skin as we age. It is used on skin problems but I would say it is used most for sore ... I have loved make up, skin care and pampering products for years. I love going into Boots, Superdrug. Body Shop and health stores looking through the huge array of productd available. Vaseline has got to be one of the oldest products around and it's STILL going strong. Why is this you ask? Well, it's dirt cheap for one. But vaseline doesn't need to scream out scientific terms or miracle cures like many modern skincare products. I'm tired of seeing complicated lists of ingredients and scientific claims that I ... With all the flu bugs going round, let me tell you a way of getting rid of you’re cold before it even starts. I don't think that anyone will disagree with me when I say that Vaseline is the best skincare product ever. I use it on my face..on my lips...on my eyebrows...on my heels and on my elbow and knees. I have been using vaseline in my family for years. TIP- If I go out in a skirt without tights, I always put a layer of Vaseline over my legs it keeps them warm. With Vaseline it has no perfume in it, so you can use it all over the body and on your face. It works very well on your lips also, so you will no be getting any dry lips. You ... Vaseline Intensive Care Dry Skin lotion is wonderful stuff. I have very strange skin as I have mentioned in other opinions. My skin has dry patches (sometimes) and oily patches (sometimes) and doesn't like many of the perfumed or fancy soaps on the market. During a particularly bad time of dry skin I went to Boots in search of a cure. This ... Read the complete review
