The wipes have just the right amount of 'wetness' to them and the cleansing agents impregnated into them is gentle but effective on cleaning my granddaughters messiness. My granddaughter will be two next month so her mum is beginning to wean her off many baby products and introducing her to more 'grown up' items, one such step is replacing the baby wipes we usually use for her face and hands with Sticky Fingers which are especially designed to be used on toddlers and young children. I think Sticky Fingers, branded as Wet Ones and made by Jeyes (strangely!), are excellent. They come in a packet that has a design of monsters and aliens so as to appeal to children, the packet feels nice and heavy which indicates straight away that the wipes are going to be well moistened and at least as thick as a baby wipe. had not heard of Colm Toibin, and given his absence from the DooYoo books and magazines section, I gather that not many of you had heard of him either. But his first and second novels, The South and The Heather Blazing both won awards and this book, The Story of the Night has been praised to high heaven by Roddy Doyle, one of my all time favourite authors. So who is this Toibin, chappy? Well he is Irish, in his late forties, resides in Dublin and continues to write mainly non-fiction work. Sticky Fingers are wipes that are safe to use on just about every part of your little one. They come in a resealable packet which does keep them moist and are ideal for use when travelling as well as at home. I use them after my son has eaten, when as most parents know, food can get just about everywhere!
