Advantages: Small, Compact, unisex
Disadvantages: none!
Well, As a baby freak myself I thought I would write about the ultimate baby item which I will never get rid of! When I was pregnant with my first daughter I went to alot of baby shows, fairs and trawled through alot of websites looking for a gorgeous unisex changing bag which wasnt too common and bulky and which I could also use as a handbag.
I came along the John lewis website which was selling all sorts of shabby chic style changing bags and the one that stuck out the most was the 'Yummy Mummy birds and the bees' Changing bag. It stuck out like a sore thumb straight away and I fell in love with it!
The bag is made out of a waterproof material so It is easy to wipe down & is also for waterproof weather. The material is Cream with small icons of bluebirds, flowers & bees. In the middle of the front of the bag is a gorgeous pocket made out of a beige denim material with a gorgeous felt transfer of a cupcake on with 'Yummy Mummy' embroided onto the flap. There is a small handle so you can carry is like a handbag but also a long extending handle so you can put it on your pushchair or on your shoulders. There are also two small pockets on either side of the bag which can hold bottles and small items.
Inside the changing bag there is a gorgeous folding changing mat with the same pattern as the bag. I waterproof zip bag for nappies, wipes or creams etc. There is a little hand mirror which is on a string and clipped onto the inside of the bag. There is a small clip for clipping on a spare dummy. there are also around 3 or 4 pouch pockets inside which are big enough to slide bottles nappies and bigger items into to.
This bag is so versitile as it will compactly fit all the baby items into without a problem. An instead of taking a seperate handbag I always put my purse, phone etc into the bag aswell as there is so much room! I will never get rid of this changing bag and its still in fab condition after having it for 4 years.
It is on the pricey side, I bought this for £75 including delivery off the John lewis website but In my eyes its definatly worth the money!! Most changing bags are not the waterproof material so if its raining and your pushchair your buggy it always gets soaked through!!
I woul recommend this too any mother as it is definatly a versitile and easy to use bag!!
Summary: Fab changin bag and very versitile
