Advantages: good for breastfeeding, no kicked off covers, good for travelling Disadvantages: price
I bought my little boy a sleeping bag because we went away last November when he was seven weeks old to the Lake District. I was worried about him getting cold in the night and thought it would be easier to pack one sleeping bag than all the sheets and blankets. I had to buy size 6 to 12 months because the 0 to 6 month size was a very snug fit at 7 weeks (and he isnt a particularly big boy!) However, it still fits him now at 13 months. The bag was marvelous when I was breastfedding him in the middle of the night because I didnt have to worry about him getting cold as I took him from his cot to my bed and vice versa. Once he's in his bag he knows its timfe for bed. We've never had to worry about him kicking his blankets off in the night. This sleeping bag is the right thickness to last the whole year (except a heatwave, and we dont get many of those do we!) as its thin enough to be worn with just a vest for the summer and thick enough to keep baby warm with a cosy babygro on in the winter. If I had to puic my one best baby buy, it would be this. Summary: |
