When thinking about our unborn babies nursery we wanted to get lots of lovely neutral bits, as we didnt find out what we were having, I came across some lovely multi coloured ones and some really plain, when I found this set I loved it, It is fairly plain, mostly cream with a few pale brown bits and som mint green, on the quilt the bottom half is waffle effect, at the top of the waffle section is some brown buttons, in the middle of the waffle section there is a stiched on bear with and brown patern with Barnaby Button stiched on.
The pillow case is cream with a small section on one side waffled with buttons again, and in the corner there is an embroided B.
You can get alot more in the range as well, the Bumper for the cot, the lampshade, a blanket, and even a play gym and bouncer to complete the nursery, also they do a big teddy and comfort blanket with small teddy.
It is a lovely set but I dont really feel its been worth the money for us, we put it in the cot when we set up the nursery and it looked fantastic, but as soon as my son went into his own room, the quilt and pillow had to be taken away as they are 12 months plus, and it wasnt long before the bumper came off too as he kept wriggling up and playing with it so I was concerned for safety reasons.
It is a lovely set but im sure at 12 months when my son does start using a quilt I will want to have a nice 'boy' room for him, so it has cost alot to just sit in the airing cupboard.
The Barnaby Button range of bedding is so sweet! I kept walking around many shops to see what I liked the most. It seemed like every other week I was changing my mind. Finally when baby was born we were given a substancial amount of vouchers for use at Mamas and Papas. I knew then I could get the one I had liked the most but was slightly too much money. We went out the following weekend and got the whole Barnaby Button set. I was out recently and noticed bits on offer and managed to get the quilt and pillowcase at a reduced price. This kid is growing up with Barnaby Button everywhere.
Quite nice is that they have a lot of things to match the collection like comforters, teddy bears, lights, nappy holder, wall paper, and much more.
This collection is especially nice in my eyes as it's very neutral colours and not overly in your face as many of them can be. We had wanted something nice but not gender specific.
Plus, it's super soft, wish they made it in king size!
