Advantages: Keeps them warm. Various choice of tog rating. Good value for money.

I bought a sleeping pod in the Linea Zoo range-to match in with the rest of the nursery. Being my first baby I hadn't ever come across one of these before, but thought they were a brilliant idea.

They come in various sizes, 0-6, 6-12 etc and various togs for the different seasons. The tog factor was great for me as my daughter's room can get quite cold in the winter as it's north facing with no sun on it all day, so I was able to chose I higher tog to suit our specific needs. On the back of the packaging it indicates what extra layers are suitable to be warn under the pod, and this obviously varies between the tog ratings-very helpful.

However, when my daughter was first born she would not sleep until she was swaddled so unfortunatley we did not get much use out of the 0-6 month sleeping pod. We finally got her out of the swaddling and into her pod when she went into her own room and has slept in one every night since then.

They are fantastic as you don't have the worry of your child kicking off the covers in the night and them getting cold. My daughter is now 17 months and is still sleeping in her pod. They are very roomy, not restrictive at all and you do get alot of use out of them before you need to change to the next size up. My daughter is still only in the 6-12 month one and has loads of room left in hers until we need to get her a new one.

I would definately use one of these again if I had another baby, excellent value for money.

Summary: A product I would definately recommend and use again myself.
