Ok for the short term use in a moses basket

I have purchased all of my moses basket and cotbed bedding from Mothercare for my little bundle of joy so have a few reviews along these lines to come. The reason I chose to get them from Mothercare is an easy one...we had vouchers lol! Our first set of purchases was to get the Moses Basket ready and these Flat Cotton Sheets were our primary choice along with some fitted sheets.

The Mothercare Cotton Flat Sheets come in 2 sizes - moses basket and cot/cotbed. They are 100% cotton and you get 2 per pack. These are reasonably priced at £7.99 for Moses size and £12.99 for the cot/cotbed size. We chose to get a set of flat sheets ready as our bedroom stays very warm and felt blankets may be too heavy and knew that this size would also go in our pram as well. I also didn't want to spend too much on the Moses Basket bedding as I knew our little boy wouldn't be in there very long before moving to his cotbed.

These Flat Sheets are plain and basic, only coming in white and being simple. They are very breathable and wash and wear very well. Despite countless washes and tumble dries the sheets have remained bobble free and still look pretty unused.

The only downside I have found are that they are a little thin, and can look a little cheap but for what they cost for a pack of 2 this should be expected. I found I did use them alot for the moses basket but still popped a thin blanket over the top as I felt they weren't substantial enough to keep baby warm even in our hot bedroom, and again for this reason never used them in the pram opting for a fleece blanket instead.

Overall - a basic sheet at a bargain price I feel these sheets are ok and I have used them a lot. But due to the slightly inferior quality I splashed out a little more when buying for the cotbed which I knew I would get much more use.
