Advantages: These are very comfortable sheets and wash very well
Disadvantages: There are no disadvantages
WHAT ARE THEY?
Jersey sheets from Mothercare. All of their jersey sheets are available to fit a crib, a cot and a cot bed and I have all of the different sizes but am talking about specific the ones that I use on my 9 month old daughters cot bed.
These sheets can be bought in all different colours and you can buy them with fitted corners and as flat sheets also. The ones I have got now are lemon and I bought the fitted ones because they are a lot easier. I have got some pink ones also and they are flat sheets but they are 7 years old so I do not know if you can still buy these exact ones. They are very soft even after they have been washed a lot, they are not fluffy like you would think with them being called jersey sheets but they have got the same soft feel as high quality cotton sheets.
WHAT I THINK
I like these cot bed sheets and I have bought them for all 3 of my children because they are very good and I trust Mothercare to be good for my children. The lemon colour is very attractive and this colour would be ok for boys or girls if you do not know what you are having, there is white as well if you do not want to buy blue or pink sheets for your baby.
The elastic on the corners is strong and that keeps the sheet in the correct place even if your baby moves a lot in their sleep. The elastic makes changing the sheet very easy also because they just snap into place and it does not take very much time. I like how soft and warm the sheets feel even if the room is a little bit cold and my daughter always sleeps very well so I think she must think they are comfortable.
I change my daughters sheet every 2 days so they have been washed a lot but the colour has not faded and the material has not gone thin. I think that is very good because I have got some other jersey sheets that cost more money but they have gone thread bared at the corners now even though they feel like they are made from the same material.
These sheets come in a packet of 2 and cost about £15. That is very good value I think because of how long they last and how comfortable they are for my baby daughter, the ones I bought 7 years ago for my other daughter are still in very good condition and I still use them regular so they were a very good buy and I hope my lemon ones last for that long.
5 Dooyoo Stars.
