Mothercare stock an excellent vareity of matresses. So many different sizes and interiors! You have such a choice. You are more than likely to find the exact size of matress that you require, even if the cot you bought was not from mothercare. We have had this cot mattress (continental size) for 3 years, it was bought new for our oldest daughter and is now in use with our second. Although guidelines suggest that a new mattress should be bought for each new child, we felt that as this has a removeable washable cover, and our children have not been prone to sickness or any other nasties, there was no need to replace it. Also it was quite expensive so that is a factor for us. We have had the mattress cover off a few times for washing – the top unzips and you just need to wash that part.
