Tomy Freestyle Classic Baby Carrier ... any expectant mother will surely know, there is a period just before your baby is born when you cant really do much but you need things to keep your brain engaged. I therefore set myself the task of researching a baby carrier, as I and my husband are keen walkers so we wanted to be able to incorporate our baby into this without the hassle of lugging a pram around. After reading all the reviews in any baby magazine I could lay my hands on we settled on the Babasling as it had had rave reviews and we liked the fact that it seemed simple to use. Wilkinet Sling ... a nightmare! I have tried quite a few slings carriers with 3 children and with the rave reviews I really thought this sounded amazing! I certainly would not recommend this to anyone - it is such a fiddle trying to put it all together - trust me I tried very hard! The sling is lovely and soft and felt very comfortable (almost soft cushion like rather than any stiff fabric involved - this is because it relies on how tight you fasten the straps)- mine was a beautiful purple cordrouy (I do love the colours of these!) with a main head piece and fathoms of straps. Baby Bjorn Baby Carrier ... absolutely love this carrier. The best thing is the design. The baby gets to ride very high on your tummy and very close to you. This is brilliant as it is far more comfortable than other slings and also makes the baby feel lighter (remember all the lifting and handling info about carrying a heavy item as close to you as possible to avoid doing your back in?) this is the same principle and baby is kept far more snug up against your body than any other make of sling I havve tried.
