Advantages: Incredibly easy to use, Superb build quality, Machine washable

Disadvantages: Back support could be better

This was one of those last minute purchases that, at the time, seemed like a luxury. But, after our baby was born, is one of the most used things we have. It really works. I didn't even bother reading the instructions, it's so easy to use, and a fitting guide is stitched into the carrier in case you forget. The carrier is secure and settles my baby to sleep 8 out of 10 times. The colour choices are impressive, and the quality is excellent. My only reservation is that if you have back problems (particularly if you've just given birth) the BabyBjorn can kill your back after several minutes. Being the father, I can wear it for hours, but I'm not sure what prolonged carrying does to the baby's back, so I avoid carrying the baby for more than a couple of hour (this probably applies to all carriers). Otherwise, enjoy hands free closeness with your little one with this great piece of kit, thoroughly recommended.
