My son is now 13 months old, I bought the Beco about a month ago and only wish I'd done it a year sooner! I failed to get on with a Tomy carrier after my son was born and stuck to my pushchair until about 11 months when I started getting babywearing, natural parenting urges (and the practicalities of not taking a bulky pushchair everywhere I went).
I talked to sling users and was recommended the Beco as I was slightly nervous about the logistics of getting it on and off and this has a double layer so you can put your baby in it before putting it onto your back. It also comes in really lovely designs (or just plain colours if that's what you prefer).
The only thing holding me back was the price, it has a hefty £95 price tag, but having done some research they seem very popular on the second hand market and go for a decent price so it didn't seem too much of a gamble.
I wanted to order the tree design shown in the picture but couldn't find that in stock so went for a blue owl print so my partner could use it without feeling too girly. I've had the beco about a month and have used it almost daily with my 24lb son. Sometimes going out to the shops and sometimes just round the house so he can't get up to mischief while I'm hanging out the washing and having a bit of a tidy up.
I absolutely love it and want to buy another one so I have to keep reminding myself that would be completely pointless!
Suitable for newborn to toddler (7-45 lbs/3.5 - 20 kg)
