Advantages: flexible, intimate, easy on back
Disadvantages: need to master different ways of using
My wife and I discovered this baby carrier with our second child and soon wondered how we had managed with the standard carriers. This long strip of stretchy and soft fabric can be wrapped and tied in different ways to carry your child on your front (facing you or away) , on your back or at your side. It is so versatile and seems very comfortable for the baby.
The baby is tucked in close against you with no layers of the carrier in between and is well supported it is like giving them a hug while having your arms and hands free. You also are comfortable as we found this to be easier on the back and shoulders than other carriers we had from Quinny and mothercare. The only downsides are that you can get sweaty where the material covers but that is the case with all the carriers I have found. Also you need to master the different ways of attaching your child but this is not hard and there are handy instructions to help.
My second child wanted a lot of attention and this carrier allowed her to tuck him close to her to clean etc far easier than by using a conventional carrier. Highly recommended and well worth a go.
Summary: highly recommended
