Disadvantages: Very hard to get baby in!
I bought this whilst pregnant with my daughter, well what a waste of money. I had heard that babies like to be in one, close to their mother etc. Anyway we put Lauren in it when she was about 8 weeks old for the first time, she screamed the house down. It took us about 15 minutes to get the thing on and her in it! That was with the help of my husband too! I tried it again when she was 5 months old, again it was a real struggle to get her in. When she was in I found it very difficult to walk, her legs were obstructing mine. I would never recommend one of these front carriers although I've heard the backpack ones are alittle better to use.
