Asda George Disney Tigger Bodysuit
by NUDUL
I love this vest. It cost £4.50 and is only available from Asda George although it is available online as well as in store. It is available in a range of sizes from First size up to 12-18 months. It is made from 100% cotton and has three poppers underneath for fastening and orange embroidery to contrast with the turquoise base colour. ... The embroidered design is of a bouncing 'Tigger' from the Winnie the Pooh series and it also has an embroidered logo on the left breast which has 'Tigger loves to bounce!' written around the edges.
Because the vest has a collar it is perfect with a pair of nice trousers or little pair of jeans on a nice summer day, it is nice without the t-shirt layer to cover it, looks smart and is nice and breathable. The material washes well, I have had no issues with shrinkage or colours running, even when I have had to put it on a pre-wash with stain remover or on a hotter wash to get stains out.
Although you can get packs of three vests for less than it costs to purchase this one, I really think it is worth it for the price as it can be worn as an outer layer too. Read the complete review |

Asda George Lion Pyjama Set
by NUDUL
I bought this shorty pyjama set to take on holiday for my son. It costs £5 for the set and is available from Asda George and online through Asda Direct.
I loved the colours when I saw it, it is nice and bright, with bright blue shorts that have printed lions on them and a white t-shirt that has press-studs on the neck line ... which is a contrasting orange ribbed fabric, a large printed bright lion in the middle and contrasting blue stitching to match the shorts.
The set is available in a range of sizes from First size up to 12-18 months. The sizes are good, not on the small size how some outfits can be. Both the shorts and t-shirt are 100% cotton however, if you feel the fabric, it is rather thin and rough in comparison to other baby outfits. To be quite honest I am a little loathe to put it on my son as I don't want it rubbing against his skin.
The set can be washed in a normal wash and also put in the drier. Unfortunately, even after washing using copious amounts of fabric conditioner I found that the outfit still felt rough to the touch. Although the colours washed well and there was no shrinkage.
Overall, I wouldn't buy this again. Read the complete review |

Asda Tinkerbell Supesoft Dressing Gown
by cornishchic
I seemed to have started a Christmas tradition with my daughter and every year I have to buy her a new dressing gown and slippers. The dressing gown bought for Christmas this year was a Tinkerbell one bought from my local Asda.
The dressing gown can be purchased from George online or from Asda stores that have a George ... department. It is available to buy in sizes from 12-18months right through to 5-6 years. It has a full price of £10 but is currently on sale for £7.
The dressing gown is part of the Disney princess range and features the Tinkerbell character on the front. It is mostly white in colour with odd bits of detailing breaking up the bold white colour. The detailing, although not covering the dressing gown, is perfect as it's not too in your face but looks lovely at the same time. On the collar there is Tinkerbell wording in a lovely curvy font with a snowflake and stars. Around the bottom of the front is a picture of Tinkerbell herself and again, snowflake and star detailing. My favourite addition to the details is on the back of the gown, there is the purple outline of fairy wings, and although it is quite basic it gives a good effect.
The dressing gown also features a super soft, white tie that can be ties up to keep the dressing gown done up. My daughter can't yet tie it up herself but she has no trouble in untying it when she wants to take it off. I purchased this in 3-4 years for my three year old daughter and it fits really well in the body and the arms. The only problem with it is that it is a little short, when she is more towards the four year old end of the year I don't think it will be as cosy as it is at the moment.
I was a little apprehensive after buying the dressing gown, realising it was white in colour and my daughter isn't the cleanest of children. White was bound to show up every little mark. However after washing it I'm not as apprehensive as it washes up really well. I put it in with my normal 40 degree wash and leave it to air dry, by using fabric conditioner it leaves it as soft and fluffy as it was prior to washing.
I'd definitely recommend this dressing gown to any Disney princess fans, although it doesn't feature Tinkerbell heavily, it has just the right amount of detail. My daughter will probably grow out of it before she is four but at the moment we both think it is fantastic and well worth the tenner I paid for it.
