I was recently browsing the disney store website due to a sale they had on, I was looking for bargains to put away for christmas. I spotted the adidas minnie mouse trainers and bought them for my daughter as she was needing new trainers as shoes never last her long. They cost me £22.00 and £4.95 postage (standard delivery takes 2-5 working days). I have since noticed that larger disney store shops have them in store. Postage is free if you spend £75.00. The shoes are made by adidas for the disney store, they are bright red all over with white poka dots all over them, they have two velco straps and a minnie mouse embroidered figure on each trainer. The trainers have good soles and grips on them, made from rubber, they are well padded with a thick sponge insole and a padded heel. The trainers have a classic adidas shape and logos on them. They are very cute and vibrant trainers and look cute with any outfit, my daughter loves minnie mouse and was absolutly thrilled when they arrived. She has lived in the trainers since she has had them, she says they are very comfy to wear and likes the velcro straps. She still has not got the hang of tying laces yet so the velcro straps make it easy and quick for her to put on by herself as she is very independant and likes to do everything by herself. They have a pvc coating which makes it easy to clean them, i use a damp cloth and give them a quick wipe and they come up like new everytime. They are very will made and excellent quality which i expect from adidas, i felt the trainers were a excellent price and was happy to pay the price. My daughter has now grown out of them and i have recently bought another pair for her. You will not be disapointed if you buy them, a must for any minnie mouse fan!
I bought these stunning Adidas trainers for my youngest daughter in The Disney Store for her third birthday back in June. I hadn't actually gone into the shop for trainers, but we spotted them at the exact same time and when I saw how much Hollie loved them I had to buy her a pair. They are a gorgeous pair of trainers, easily the prettiest and most attractive Hollie has ever owned. They are made with a PVC finish, over which the traditional Adidas stripes have been stitched. There is an embroidered Minnie Mouse on the outside edge of each shoe, which my daughter loves but I'm not so sure about as they've put Minnie in a red dress which blends so well with the body of the trainer that to me it looks like a disembodied head and legs! As these are Adidas, you can be sure they are going to be of excellent quality. The sizing is completely accurate and I'm impressed with the shape of the toe line. Recently nearly all the trainers I've seen for young girls have a very wide toe, I don't like this design personally and think it looks uncomfortable for the child. These are shaped to be the same sort of fit as I'd expect from an woman's style trainer, with a slim toe but given the appearance of width by both a well shaped instep and jutting rubber sole. The trainers are nicely cushioned, the insole is a soft and thick foam which hasn't flattened out or deteriorated over the months my daughter has been wearing them. It fits snug inside the shoe but can be pulled out for cleaning, something which is very straight forward to do and getting the sole back in again is no problem. The back heel is cushioned with a strip of Adidas embossed white leather, this softens the backs of the trainers and Hollie never once complained about the stiffness of them while new. She's always seemed very comfortable in them and loves the Velcro straps. The past four pairs of trainers she's owned have had laces, which I think is much more attractive but very frustrating for a wannabe 'Independent Woman' who might be bright but definitely isn't at the lace-tying stage yet! These trainers feature two Velcro straps which are supple and easy to use, the Velcro is much stronger than that you'd find on cheaper trainers and I also felt the straps were very smooth to pull through the eyelets. These trainers are waterproof, thanks to an extremely high quality sole and the PVC upper. Splashing in puddles is fine as there's absolutely nowhere for the water to get into the shoe, obviously if they wade in water higher than the shoe they'll get wet feet but this isn't the fault of Adidas, is it? For me the beauty of these trainers is that they will wipe clean much easier than the textured leather and/or plastic trainers that are usually available for young girls. A damp cloth or even a baby wipe is all you need to get them looking clean again, even the Adidas stripes are shiner than usual so these don't become grubby and spoil the look either. The wavy grips on the bottom of the trainers are great, they're not particularly deep or wide but I get the impression they will definitely hold their own now the morning frost is coming. They've kept their shape over the months and looking at one right now I can tell you they will clean up and then the trainers will look brand new again. It's a shame Hollie's feet are growing so quickly, she almost needs the next size up as these are starting to get a bit tight. The shame is that the trainers still look so good and I'd love her to be able to carry on wearing them, I'm thinking of purchasing the same shoes in the next size for her and that should tell you how good these are as I very rarely do that. Life's so short, and there are so many shoes to choose from after all! £22 from The Disney Store.
I recently bought these trainers from the Disney website ( had to take a risk as there were no reviews on Dooyoo!) My little girl loves everything Disney and the quality of there products is usually very good. I was also reassured by the fact that they were made by a shoe specialist Adidas, as i believe footweraa is very important in a little ones foot development! I ordered them and paid for standerd delivery and the service was exellent! Sometimes when i order off the web and only pay for standerd delivery my items don't arrive for up to ten days! So i was very excited when there was a knock at the door on the wednesday (I had only ordered them on the Monday morning!) So really was a first class delivery service (No pun intended! haha) So the brilliant service had already impressed me but what did i think of the shoes? Well, they were wrapped beautifully and really well protected. The shoes themselves were so well made, and so very funky! They are like a mini version of the adult trainers with the iconic 3 stripes on the side! The main body of the trainer is a very vibrant Red with little white polka dots and white soles ( The 3 stripes are in white too!) and there is a little minnie on the outside of each shoe. They fasten by two velcro straps, which encourages toddlers to fasten their own shoes and get that little bit more independant! They are finished in a PVC type finish, which although screams being tacky, in a childrens shoe is very practical as you can just wipe whatever muck they get on them away very easily! Now for the bit you may want to skip over.... the price! (Gulp!) They cost me £23.00 but that wasn't including postage, but i would happily pay this again as its a very well made shoe, which fits my little girl very well, she has not complained abouth them rubbing or even being slightly sore since we had them. Overall i would suggest these for any little disney princess's!
