“ Brand: Bob & Blossom / Gender: Boys / Clothing Type: Baby Accessories „
Im so excited now that November is approaching and my youngest daughter is expecting a little boy who will be her first child and my third grandchild.
It is a great time for shopping and we now go out every week to get something for the nursery or his clothers drawers, which are rapidly filling up with new clothes. he already has lots of trendy clothes waiting for him to arrive in the world and this week I just had to buy this cute little set of boys socks as I couldn't resist buying them.
I bought them online at www.bobsandblossom.co.uk I bought other clothes as well and they arrived here at my house five days after ordering them online, which I thought was quite quick.
All shipments to the United Kingdom are posted first class Recorded delivery. So you have to sign for them when they arrive.
A flat rate of £3.50 is charged for each order.
The little socks are coloured and striped and come in three stripey colours, blue, green and brown. They are 100% cotton which I thought was important for a new born baby to wear as my daughter and my other children and myself all have sensative skin, so I thought buying 100% cotton was the best as it's very likely the baby will have inherited our sensative skin.
Now for the price... These cost a whopping £8.95 for the three pairs and this may seem a lot to pay for socks but I have bought these before for my other two grandchildren so I know that they are of a very high quality.
They do not shrink or stretch in the washing machine and the elastic in the tops doesn't give or stretch out of shape.
It is gentley woven into the tops to make them very easy to put on the babies feet and they do not leave marks on the legs, which is important for a new born baby to have circulation to their feet and keep them warm.
I first saw these socks on a friend of mine's baby and when I asked the price I was shocked and never thought I'd pay that amount but when my first grandchild was born I thought well, why not and bought a set.
I was so happy with the quality and the way they lasted that I am now buying them again for grandchild number three. After all they all deserve the best.
Although they are expensive I would recommend them to you as they have one sizes from 0-12 months and they really do last that long, so your getting value for your money.
The colours don't run in the wash and they don't fade either so they are worth the price.
They also come gift wrapped in a little box with a nice ribbon around them and a gift tag.
I think they are the best little baby socks you can buy.
These socks were given to me as a present from a friend of mine. She had bought these to match a gorgeous baby boy outfit and as I loved them so much I urged her to tell me where she brought them from. She bought them online at ASOS - I nearly had a heart attack when I had a look later for other clothes. The socks had cost her £10! Now for something that was a 0-6 month gift - something that my little one will only wear a couple of times - I would not have paid the same amount.
The quality is fantastic, I have not had a problem washing. The elastic to hold the socks up is really gentle and did not leave marks on his skin (as I found a couple of different brands had). The elastic also didn't wear out with washes. The colour didn't run and I didn't find any bobbles. They are 100% cotton and completely safe for a newborn to wear. They come in three colours - a pair of brown strips, light blue strips and green stripes. They come in a see through bag with a nice brown tie.
I personally would not have bought this product - purely for the fact that it costs so much. However saying that I have bought other clothes from the same website and, since the quality is fantastic, I am likely to continue. I have kept these socks aside for baby number 2 in 3 years!
Now this is a strange thing to write a review about but somebody has to do it and as nobody else has, i will!
A friend of mine bought my Son these with an outfit five months ago when he was born. As a result, I'm not too sure where they can be bought from and how much they are (although i know they wont have been cheap as this particular friend loves to splash her cash!), All i know is that they are made by Bob and Blossom.
These socks came in size 0 to 6 months so i imagine they also sell sizes 6 months plus. They come in a rich cotton material which even after several washes, don't bobble and fade. Unlike Primark socks which are very cheap but do ware out after a few wears and washes! These socks come in a range of colours with white stripes all over them and are very stretchy, which was very useful to me as my Son has quite big feet for his age! Sadly he has outgrown them now but i would definitely buy him these in his current size, were I to see them when out and about.
Very good quality socks which look very comfortable.
