When my sister found out she was pregnant, I went on a mass buying spree of stuff for my niece or nephew (turned out to be a niece :D) and one of the items I found was the Bud Loops Baby Jump Suit ( or a vest as I have come to know it!! )

This is basically a baby vest, with short sleeves and an awesome pattern on it. It is brown in main colour, but has purple and pink loops and circles printed on it. The edgings of the vest are pink too. It has the usual popper fastening as all baby vests seem to do. I mainly bought this because I thought the pattern was pretty cool, and as I didn't know what my sister was having at the time, I thought this would be suitable for a boy or a girl.

It is made from cotton and is lovely and soft, which I think is perfect for a baby. It only comes in one size, which is billed as being from Newborn, but my niece only fit in it when she was about 9 - 10 months old. She still fits in it now, being just over a year old, so it is can fit a good range of sizes, but no where nea a newborn baby, unless you give birth to a very big baby!!

I think the pattern on this outfit is really cute, and I always make sure my niece is wearing it when I look after her, as she looks really cute in it ( She even has matching hat and socks!! ) and she never seems to be effected by wearing it, so I can only assume it is comfortable to wear and not irritating. By the time she can tell us whether she likes it, I doubt she will fit in it any longer!

I have never seen any rashes, rubbing or chaffing from this outfit on my niece, and it fits her quite nicely, even over her nappy. I think with the rate she is growing, she probably has only a few months left of wear in it, but it still looks in perfect condition!

It is machine washable, which is brilliant with children! It has been washed on a 30 degree wash and a 40 degree wash, and has come out perfectly clean and the same size. It is tumble dryable too, so should you need it in a hurry, there is no problems with the cleaning and drying of this vest.

I bought this vest on Amazon last year, and sometimes it does come back on the site, but you have to catch it quick. You can buy it direct from the Bud/Present time company through their website. I paid just under £5 for this vest, which I think is a bit of a high price. The pattern is cute and it is a good quality item, but my niece has many other vests which have costs less, fit just as well and lasted just as well too.

For a novelty outfit for your child, it is quite a cool idea, but not if you wish to buy something a bit more cheaper and more value for money. For the price of this one vest, you can buy multipacks of plain and patterned vests, which work just as well I think.

I recommend this vest for children over 9 months old ( not from Newborn as the item suggests ) but I am giving it a 4 out of 5 stars due to the high price of the vest.
