We have had all sorts of food including tomato sauce and chocolate dribbles and none of them have caused permanent staining. I wash these in a white wash and try to remove them so they are dried on a radiator rather than the dryer and they are usually dry within minutes. My thoughts These bibs are smart and the coloured trims allows you to differentiate between the bibs so if you know you ha...more

George Colour Trim Bibs: George Plastic Back Baby Bibs - essential for a dribbling ba ... (492 words)

I didn't know whether I was having a boy or girl before my baby daughter was born, but I needed to be prepared with some essential baby items before she arrived, and so I bought a mixture of cloth and plastic backed bibs. I wasn't particularly keen on the plastic backed bibs, as obviously the cloth ones are a lot prettier, however it was my Mum who advised me at the time to pick up a pack of plastic backs, so if I ended up with a baby that brought up a lot of milk etc then this would protect their clothes, and mean they didn't need a whole new outfit at each feed! So, when in Asda, I noticed that they had a pack of 10 plastic bibs, for a very reasonable £3. ...  Read the complete review

Brilliant Bibs (383 words)

When I had my 20 week scan I was determined that I would still buy unisex clothes for my baby even though I knew I was having a little girl. I went to ASDA to do my weekly food shop and couldn't resist popping into the George section to look at all the baby clothes. I started off very well behaved picking up these bibs and white baby grows. However the trip was an epic failure as I ended the trip spending £56 on a bag full of pink clothes. These bibs came in a clear plastic cover; there were 10 bibs in the pack of different colours. The bibs are white with a coloured edge. They have waterproof backs which make them perfect for catching all spills and not ...  Read the complete review

George Colour Trim Bibs: Bibs that keep on going (379 words)

We were bought these bibs as a gift from the girls' Nana when our second child was due. She figured we'd be ready for some new bibs and could use them on the new baby. We started using them straight away and six months later they are still as good as new, having been through the wash a few dozen times each. Description Each bib is white towelling on the front with a coloured trim and thin plastic covered back. The have a velcro fastening on one shoulder and are nice and big around the neck so easily fit our two year old. The velcro has not deteriorated since we began using these. In use we use these every day and they are the perfect size ...  Read the complete review

I bought these bibs from the George section of Asda whilst doing my weekly shop when I was pregnant. I used both Asda and Tesco items with my first child and was confident buying more of their products with my second daughter. The George trim bibs come in packs of 10 for £3 a pack which makes them 30p each which I think is brilliant value, you can buy the coloured trim pack or you can buy a pack which have a white trim. The bibs came packaged in a plastic sleeve which was see through and allowed you to see the bibs and their trim inside, you got a great range of colours including yellow, orange, yellow, a couple of blues, a couple of greens and a few more ...  Read the complete review

George Colour Trim Bibs: Great value bibs (358 words)

I bought these bibs from Asda in the later part of my pregnancy. These bibs come in a pack of ten for £3 which is great value. They come in a clear plastic bag with a resealable opening, so you can see all the various colours and use the bag for storing them as well, which is great because if you use them quite often they are bound to get scattered. The trims come in a few colours like blue, orange, red, green etc which is good for identifying which ones you have used. These bibs are made of a towel like material which is 65% cotton and 35% polyester as per the packaging. They have a plastic backing made of PEV acetate which is supposedly non ...  Read the complete review
